the emo setlist - 005 - Thursday

February 2nd, 2024

Introduction - Thursday 🕊️

I had the opportunity to catch one of Thursday’sWar All The Time” 20 year album celebration shows at Newport Music Hall in Columbus this week and the experience was surreal. They are in the midst of the tour and if there are any dates near your city, the show will certainly be a concert highlight for the year!

Joining Thursday each night are bands Many Eyes and Rival Schools. What makes this special is that this group of bands toured together after the initial release of “War All The Time”. The trio of bands are comprised of hardcore and emo scene legends including Many Eyes vocalist Keith Buckley (formerly As I Lay Dying), Rival Schools vocalist Walter Schreifels (formerly Quicksand and Gorilla Biscuits), Thursday guitarist Norman Brannon (formerly Texas is the Reason), and Steve Pedulla of Thursday is also playing guitar for Rival Schools. I have a full Thursday show recap including photos 📸 here.
